Data Visualization | A Day of Hydration

When tasked with collecting data and creating a data visualization, I thought it would be interesting to find out how much water I drank in a day. While in the process of this, I tried to find out if there would be trends relating to temperature of the water.

I also wanted to differentiate between extended drinks and quick sips. This is portrayed by the sectioned pieces of each pie slice. Instead of logging how many ounces were a part of each chug, I decided to assign one sip to a single ounce. I would subtract the amount of sips from the total ounces within each hour. Then divide amount of chugs from the remaining ounces to find an average.
